SANT JOAN FESTIVITIES IN CALVIÀ, LIVE JOANART
Calvià celebrates Sant Joan Festivities with a series of activities from 23rd to 29th June, starting on the 23rd in the afternoon with two concerts, in Palmanova and Santa Ponça.

This year's edition will feature exhibitions, workshops, circus, music, bar theatre, a good food market and a gastronomic tasting with Koldo Royo. The event will be held on Sunday 24th June, from 6 p.m.
The programme is completed on the 26th and 29th with the presentation of the book La vaga de les collidores d'olives de Calvià 1932, by Manel Suàrez, and with Cabaret intimíssim by Corcada Teatre.

Enjoy a responsible 'Sant Joan'
Enjoy a responsible 'Sant Joan' leaving the beach clean and following these tips:
- Use reusable glasses, plates, cutlery and water bottles, cloth bags or baskets
- Do not use plastic bags, disposable cups, straws, drinks in plastic or cans
- Do not throw cigarette butts on the sand
- Do not leave candle wax on the sand
- Remember that it is forbidden to bring any sort of glass to the beach, make campfires and camp

On the other hand, Calvià 2000 will place at the beaches entrance a reinforcement of selective and reject containers to improve the existing service, and at 6 o'clock in the morning of the next day, heavy cleaning machinery will enter the beaches.
