Galatzó trail: Traffic information

INFORMATION ON TRAFFIC AND PARKING CHANGES IN ES CAPDELLÀ DUE TO THE GALATZÓ TRAIL RACE

The second edition of the Galatzó mountain trail, in which 650 runners have registered, of which 20% are from outside the Balearic Islands, will take place on Sunday 17^th March.

The Galatzó trail consists of two races: the Galatzó Half (32-km mountain half marathon) and the Galatzó Legend (43-km route that takes place in the public estate of Galatzó, crowning the peaks of s'Esclop and es Galatzó).

The race has a double objective, on the one hand promote mountain sports, placing value on the natural environment of the municipality and, on the other hand, contributing to the tourist deseasonalisation.

The trail is complemented by activities organised for the previous day, Saturday 16^th March, at the Casal de Peguera, such as the "Moving mountains" conference, in which the best trail athletes of the Balearic Islands will talk about their experiences.

Due to the race, there will be some traffic and parking restrictions in the area of es Capdellà on Sunday, since the start and the finish line will be at sa Vinya square.
