THE MOT STATION OF CALVIÀ CLOSER TO BEING A REALITY
The Calvià Town Hall's Plenary Session has approved today the PGOU's timely modification for the land use change
The launch of a new MOT station in Calvià has passed the process that will allow the start of the purchase-sale or expropriation phase, if an agreement with the property is not reached, of the plot where this new service will be located. The extraordinary plenary session today unanimously approved, the timely modification of the General Plan for the plot's use change, thus becoming a public equipment.
It is a 5.600 m2 plot of the Son Bugadelles industrial estate, located in Son Thomàs street.
The deputy mayor for Urban Planning, Commerce and Activities, Marc López, said that, with today's approval, "Calvià is closer to hosting the fifth MOT station in Mallorca." From this approval, the plot (which has been valued for 650,000 euros) buying process will begin.
Once it has been acquired, the transfer will be made to the Consell de Mallorca for the construction of the facilities on this land that will continue to be part of the municipal ownership.
