CHALLENGE PEGUERA MALLORCA CHOSEN AS THE BEST RACE OF CHALLENGE FAMILY OF THE YEAR 2019
The race obtains the prize at the first Challenge Family Awards ceremony held in Daytona (USA), in the franchise's global meeting
Challenge Peguera Mallorca receives the most prestigious award in 2019, and also wins the prize for the best run circuit
Best Challenge Family race of the year 2019
Challenge Peguera Mallorca has been the challenge that better results has obtained in the voting, the participants have valued the magnificent location, the varied, surprising and challenging circuits, as well as the organisation.
Best Run Circuit of the year 2019
Challenge Peguera Mallorca has also been proclaimed winner in the category of best Run Circuit. In this case, the people who voted valued the amount of public encouraging the participants, the assembly of the finish line area and a flatter route than in previous editions and that goes through the centre of Peguera (between the beach and the boulevard).
These two acknowledgments serve to value the work done by the volunteer team of the event, institutions involved, sponsoring entities, security forces and in general all the people who make possible the development of the race. In addition, the prize is an extra motivation for the organisation to continue working searching for formulas that maintain the high quality of the event.
Challenge Peguera Mallorca is a tourist sports project coordinated by Fundación Calvià, Calvià Town Hall and the Peguera Hotel Association. It has the support of the Spanish Triathlon Federation, the Fundació Mallorca Turisme, Zoot, Powerbar and Fibwi.
