THE HIDROBAL SAN SILVESTRE CALVIANERA 2019 BREAKS THE RECORD OF PARTICIPATION WITH 1250 PEOPLE
The most massive San Silvestre in Mallorca
1250 people is the maximum allowed for this edition
The VIII edition of Hidrobal San Silvestre Calvianera was celebrated today 31st December in Magaluf. With 1250 people enrolled in the main race and 250 in the children's race they have turned the Calvià race into the most massive San Silvestre on the island, for the third consecutive year.
The good weather and the great atmosphere have characterised the event. Many people have participated dressed in fun clothes, animated by the costume contest that included the call. This fact has created really fun appearances and a very relaxed atmosphere throughout the entire route.
In sports, the 6.7 km distance between the Magaluf and Palmanova areas, with departure and arrival at the Magaluf athletics track, has had some of the most recognised athletes on the island. Finally, Lluis Fullana in the men's category and Neus Antich Carbonell in the women's category won the race.

Finally, note that by crossing the finish line, all the participants have replenished forces with hot chocolate and ensaimada, without a doubt, the best way to recover from the effort and cheer in the company of the Mallorcan athletics family for a good beginning of the year 2020.
