THE TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT INSTITUTE OF CALVIÀ LAUNCHES THE SELECTION DAYS 2020 PROGRAMME AIMED AT COVERING MUNICIPAL COMPANIES WORK POSTS
The experience of the Employment Fairs of the years 2017 and 2019, has reaffirmed the need to offer, during the months of January to May, individualised personnel selection campaigns, aimed at companies in the municipality, with staff recruitment needs.
The first 'Selection Days' conference was held last Friday with the company Soul Hotels, to cover maitre and head receptionist posts.
At present, it is already planned to carry out 6 selection days with companies, for more than 12 jobs and 7 different professional profiles (room staff, room cleaning service, service room manager, hotel management, technical maintenance staff, public relations, electricians, plumbers, reception staff and tourism and catering professionals, in general).
The Training and Employment Institute of Calvià (IFOC), intends to offer and expand this service to all interested companies, which can request staff on the IFOC employment platform (Ifoc.es/contigo) through a simple and fast online procedure.
On the other hand, all people interested in participating will have to sign up for offers that are already available on the aforementioned website ifoc.es/contigo. If there is any person not registered in the employment platform, he or she can enter their CV on this website and participate in the selection processes.
Once the person has signed up for the corresponding offers, the IFOC employment team will call them to group screening interviews and pre-selection of candidates, finally, if this stage is overcome, the next step will be to have an interview directly with the company, which will conduct the final selection interviews at the IFOC facilities.
With this methodology, a greater degree of labour insertion of candidates is achieved, since only those who successfully conduct the group interviews will be sent to the final interview.
These days are carried out through a 1 to 1 system. This is, each day will be dedicated exclusively to a specific company, which will be responsible for conducting the final selection interviews, at the Sala Palmanova or at the IFOC facilities.
