MAYOR OF CALVIÀ AND GOVERNMENT DELEGATE MEETING
Alfonso Rodríguez Badal transfers to Aina Calvo the need to increase security officers during the high season in Calvià
Mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, was welcomed this morning by the government delegate, Aina Calvo, in a first meeting that the mayor thanked for the speed in scheduling the meeting and for the sensitivity that the delegate has shown towards the matters that he has transfered her regarding Calvià.
Alfonso Rodríguez has reiterated the need to increase the number of Civil Guard officers during the high season in Calvià, especially this year, which will be the first season of the Decree Law against drunkenness tourism to improve quality in tourist areas.
Also, in this first meeting, they have talked about the renewal of two agreements signed by the Town Hall and the Government Delegation: the agreement of the Foreign Tourism Service (SATE) and the agreement for the prevention and attention to gender violence cases.
The meeting was also attended by the deputy mayor for Police, Nati Francés, and the general director of Police, José Antonio Fernández.
