The festival made this announcement at a press conference at the ME Reina Victoria Hotel in Madrid in which participated: Álvaro Martínez, Director of Mallorca Live, Sofía Muntaner, Global Brand Marketing Manageress of INNSiDE by Meliá, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, Mayor of Calvià and Sebastián Vera, Artistic Director of the festival.

Brian Hugh Warner (Marilyn Manson), singer, songwriter, actor, writer, painter and film director, is a true popular icon that transcends musical styles or artistic disciplines. His career is full of platinum, gold and number one worldwide records (United States, Germany, France, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Russia, Sweden ...).

Marilyn Manson is expected to present some of the songs of his imminent new album, but those that are surely not missing from his repertoire will be classics of his discography such as The Beautiful People, The Dope Show, This is The New Shit or some of the versions that he has popularised as Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This), Tainted Love or Personal Jesus. It will be a unique opportunity to enjoy the genius of a unique artist who does not usually sing in Spain, and less outside festivals specialised in rock or metal.

National and Balearic artists

Mallorca Live has also confirmed the latest batch of national artists with the announcement of Belako, Colectivo Panamera or Bronquio; in addition to continuing to promote the Balearic music scene with Majorcan names such as Sofia Capital, David Van Bylen, Xavibo and The Indian Summer, and the Ibizan Flordhiguera.

In this commitment to strengthen the local talent of the islands, Mallorca Live will deliver a special prize amongst all the participants of the Pop Rock Contest organised by the Palma City Hall: the winner will perform in one of the stages of the festival and will share poster with artists from the size of Leiva, Kase.O, Nathy Peluso or Carolina Durante.

Sustainable growth

About 48.000 visitors are expected, this year, during the three days of the festival, which means another public day and an increase of 43% compared to last year. This growth, however, will not be a problem for attendees thanks to the expansion of the enclosure of approximately 10.000 square metres, which will host the same capacity per day of 18.000 people.

"This year we wanted to continue growing, above all, in improving the experience and services both inside and outside the premises," said the director of Mallorca Live, Álvaro Martínez, during the press conference.

One more year the event will be held at the Old Aquapark of Calvià, on 14th ,15th and 16th May 2020. The Mayor of the area, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, reaffirmed the commitment of the Town Hall to move towards quality for the Magaluf resort with the different actions that are being carried out and hosting major recognised international events such as Mallorca Live Festival.

The festival will feature another year the collaboration of INNSiDE By Meliá. Having surprised with the first sustainable hotel room inside a festival, “this year we hope to captivate again with a sensory experience during the festival and with the already iconic Sunday Revival farewell party in one of the most emblematic hotels of the area, the Innside Calviá Beach, ”said Sofía Muntaner, Brand Manageress of INNSiDE by Meliá.

The Mallorca Live Festival will also have this year the support of institutions such as the Agència d'Estratègia Turística de les Illes Balears (AETIB), the Consell de Mallorca (Fundació Mallorca Turisme), the aforementioned Calvià Town Hall, the Institut d'Estudis Balearics, the Consell Mallorca through the Department of Culture, Heritage and Language Policy.
