ALL THE POLITICAL PARTIES OF THE CALVIÀ TOWN HALL AGREE TO WAIVE THE EXPENSES ASSIGNED TO THE MUNICIPAL GROUPS IN THE FIRST SEMESTER OF 2020
The 33,200 euros will go to actions to help people with economic difficulties due to the Covid-19 crisis
The five political groups with municipal representation, PSOE, Podem-Més, PP, Vox and Ciudadanos, have decided to renounce the expenses allocation assigned to the municipal groups in the first half of 2020, and to allocate them to actions to support affected families due to the situation caused from the Covid-19 crisis.
Thus, the five municipal groups have agreed that the 33,200 euros allocated for the first half of this year as an aid for operating expenses, which they receive in June, be derived to help people who are experiencing economic difficulties due to the strong fall in economic activity in the municipality.
The agreement has been reached within the online meetings held weekly by all the municipal spokespersons with the mayor, and will be approved in the ordinary Plenary Session that will take place on Thursday, 30th April.
This allocation is an aid received by political groups with Council representation to cover operating expenses, with a fixed amount per group and a variable amount per councillor.
