ONE HUNDRED FINES FOR NOT WEARING A FACE MASK IN THE LAST WEEK
Last week, the Local Police of Calvià officers filed a hundred complaints for not wearing a face mask in public spaces of the municipality. On Thursday afternoon, the police officers were alerted because there were children playing without face masks on the football pitch by the Ágora Portals school. The Local Police of Calvià located fifteen of them. All of them, between 14 and 17 years old, were fined. Some are repeating offenders, as they had already been reprimanded for playing on the Son Caliu football pitch weeks before.
On the same Thursday, the Police had to go to the 7-a-side football pitch of a sports facility in Son Caliu where four young people were fined for breaching the Covid-19 regulations.
On the Son Maties beach in the early hours of Thursday to Friday, a group of fourteen tourists was found without a face mask and doing a bottle party. The same night and just beside, a family was found singing in the street, of which three members were fined for not wearing a face mask. On the Son Caliu beach on Friday morning, four people were also fined for doing a bottle party.
On Monday afternoon a total of twenty-one people who were in Momentum Square were fined for not using the face mask. In addition, another twenty-eight reports must be added for not wearing a face mask that have been drafted in different areas such as Magaluf, Palmanova-Son Caliu, Portals, Illetes, Ramon de Moncada (Santa Ponça) and El Toro.
In traffic controls, ten sanctions have been filed for breaching the Covid regulations in Magaluf and on Ramon de Moncada street. And yesterday, an administrative report was drafted against a woman for smoking on the Camino de sa Porrassa.
Establishments
In reference to establishments, the Local Police of Calvià has reported a pizzeria in Santa Ponça because at 2.23 in the morning it still had not closed. Also, in a bar on the Palmanova beach and in a bar-terrace in Magaluf the musical activity has been suspended, since they offered live performances and this activity is forbidden according to the resolution of the Regional Ministry of Health of 28th August.
Beaches
In reference to the beaches closure to control their capacity, this week during the central hours of the day, the ones in Illetes (Contesa, Xinxell and Balneario) and Cala Vinyes have been affected. Also, yesterday the cove of Portals was closed due to the wastewater overflow after the storm, so bathing was prohibited.
