A THIEF WHO BROKE INTO A HOUSE IN PEGUERA WHILE OWNERS WALKED THE DOG, HAS BEEN ARRESTED
The Local Police of Calvià arrested a thief this weekend for robbing with force and intimidation in an inhabited house in Peguera. The individual took advantage of a moment in the morning when the owner went out to walk the dog to get into the house. Upon returning, the woman found the thief who fled on the run. However, with the help of the neighbours who made a description of the author of the robbery, the local Calvià police officers were able to locate him in the nearby inside a vehicle.
The thief was arrested and various materials were seized from the interior of the vehicle, such as clothing such as neck warmers, gloves and two jackets. The Police could observe that inside the vehicle there were also several objects, but the owner of the raided house did not identify as her own. It was a watch, bracelets, rings, pendants, etc. It appears that the thief had a special interest in jewelry material since two recent gold sales invoices were also found.
The detainee was transferred early in the afternoon to the Civil Guard officers in Calvià, who took charge of the visual inspection of the case and took note of the denunciation and the witnesses.
