The Calvià City Council, through the Department of Culture, has among its objectives the support for artists and the dissemination and promotion of art in Calvià; among other ways, through the periodic programming of temporary exhibitions in the exhibition halls coordinated by this area and which combines municipal production exhibitions, external production tours and requests for exhibitions from individuals.

The municipal exhibition spaces aim to fulfill a double objective. On the one hand, the dissemination and promotion of artistic production. Simultaneously, the promotion, dissemination and development of cultural activities in general organized by the Calvià City Council, specifically by the Department of Culture.


Calvià City Council has three exhibition spaces by clicking inside each room you will find a list of the exhibitions held with their respective catalogues:

Exhibition Hall of the Calvià Town Hall, where priority is given to collective exhibitions or touring exhibitions from other entities, foundations, associations, etc. Individual exhibitions requested by individuals will be carried out secondary to those previously mentioned.
Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Casal de Peguera Exhibition Hall houses the samples requested by municipal groups and individuals.

Those interested in holding an exhibition in one of the aforementioned spaces must contact the Department of Culture at 971 139 181, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In order to ratify the aforementioned objectives, optimize its management and procedures, in the summer of 2020 the drafting of the Instruction for the Use of the Exhibition Rooms of the Culture area began, which was approved on March 10, 2021 by Alfonso Rodríguez , mayor of Calvià.
