The objective of the meeting is the proposal of improvements in the municipality´s health care in general and in certain leisure areas
The municipal representatives of the Calvià Town Hall´s services of Health, Mobility and Local Police, held a meeting with the (IbSalut) Balearic Health Service, with the aim of proposing improvements of the health care service in the municipality. During the meeting, they arranged the search of measures capable of facilitating and improving the actions carried out by the emergency services (061) in view of the increase of the emergency services pressure, which is given in certain nightlife areas such as Punta Ballena during the summer season.
With the creation of this group of work, it is expected the improvement in the coordination between both administrations reverting to a better service for the citizens of Calvià and for the tourists visiting the municipality.
Also, a positive assessment of the health care has been carried out in the different areas of the municipality, not only in primary health care assistance but also in the 061 service.
As a result, a number of measures related to organizational matters have been established with which is expected to facilitate the 061 service work, thus achieving a greater optimization of the emergency services resources.
