The Calvià Town Hall, through the IFOC (Calvià´s training and employment Institute), has presented, this morning, the start of the Business Centre of Calvià, a project which will offer to all those entrepreneurs and small and medium businesses of the municipality:

On the one hand, a series of infrastructures and premises with the aim of facilitating them their work and improve their survival expectations.

And on the other hand, the possibility of settle in a group room, where they will be able to cowork with other companies in the same place, promoting the participation and collaboration amongst them.

The users of the Business Centre of Calvià will have at their disposal at the IFOC centre: offices, meeting rooms, and formative rooms with light, ADSL, cleaning service etc. in order to begin their professional experience and practise their activity at a reasonable price: (between 50 and 200 euros per month, depending on where they stay, in a group room or in an individual office).

The start of the Business Centre emerged from the necessity of giving coverage to the young entrepreneurs of the municipality who see how the high cost of the private rents, with the same services that the IFOC offers them, could easily be about 700 euros per month and therefore they see how their ambitions are held back.

The maximum period of permanence at the working centre is 36 months and the applicants will have to present their application form at the IFOC in Palmanova in accordance with the established model, providing the necessary documentation. Then, a lease agreement will be signed with the applicant.

Thus, the Town Hall shows its unconditional support to the entrepreneurs optimizing the existing resources and means at their disposal to solve one of the main problems which the small entrepreneurs find when they want to start their initiatives.
