The Calvià Town Hall's delegation, headed by the Deputy Mayor for Tourism, Eugenia Frau, travels to the most important tourist fair in the world, the World Travel Market of London, with the aim of reinforcing relations with tour operators and British tourist groups and continue with the promotion of the municipality in such an important market such as the British. This year's novelty is the presentation during the fair of a promotional video to try to clean the image of Magaluf.
The presence of the consistory will allow to verify the impact in the United Kingdom of the consequences of the problems occurred in Magaluf last Summer and which have damaged the tourist image of this area of Calvià.
The different tourist areas of the municipality of Calvià and the deseasonalising products such as Hiking, Bird Watching, and Cycling and the sports facilities, will occupy an important part at the stands set up in the Fair of London.
Apart from the Deputy Mayor, Patricia Domínguez, manageress of the area of Tourism, will also take part of the retinue.
