Calvià 2000, through its manager, Juan Thomás, has given what was collected last 13th December in seven supermarkets of the municipality.
The manager of Calvià 2000 S.A, Juan Thomás, has given this morning to the parish church of Palmanova three tons of food collected thanks to the campaign started by the public company on 13th December in seven supermarkets of the municipality of Calvià. What was collected has been donated to Cáritas Interparroquial.
The Calvià 2000 S.A collection campaign was extended to seven establishments spread throughout the municipality: Syp-Erosky, Lidl, Casa Pepe and Cidón. The result has exceeded all expectations, as the food donated by the citizens of Calvià reached three tons.
Calvià 2000 S. A, through the Calvià Town Hall, appreciates this supportive gesture of the citizens of the municipality, as well as of the volunteers of Calvià 2000 S.A, Oh Limpia and Hidrobal, Busquets Uniformes and of the supermarkets involved in the campaign.
Today's action is added to the one of last week, which also gave to Cáritas Interparroquial of Palmanova 25kg of toys with the same objective: help the needy of the municipality of Calvià.
This initiative is framed within the social responsibility action of Calvià 2000, which counts with the certificate SGE21 since 2.011.
