The actor José Sacristán will perfom in Peguera on the forthcoming 2nd May incarnating the Sevillian writer and poet Antonio Machado.

Short time after Don Antonio's death, his brother José found in one of the master's coat pocket a paper in which it was possible to read: «estos días azules y este sol de la infancia». It was the last thing Machado wrote. Hereupon José Sacristán, accompanied by a cello played by Aurora Martínez, has taken the liberty of performing these words as his last desire: return to the Seville, the land he was born in.

Note by note, verse by verse, he suggests us this trip of return to the chidhood of not only one of the greatest poets but also one of the most honest, loyal, modest, consistent, incorruptible and lucid thinkers-witnesses of his time. Of all times.
