Public Announcement from the Mayor
The Mayor-President of the Town Hall of Calvià, informs that:
In the high tourist season in our municipality, and as the months of full occupancy are coming, as Mayor I want to remind all Calvià citizens about the need to harmonize our tourism and respect for the environment with the legitimate right to rest that residents and tourists have. We are a tourist destination that has to seek leadership through quality in our different products and areas, and we all have to commit to: the respect for the rules we have given ourselves that guarantee safety, welfare and coexistence. Only with everyone's efforts, including business owners, neighbours and the public sector, we will achieve the common desire of a quality destination.
We must respect all rules and regulations. Let's give in, in some cases, to some discomfort, with an extra effort, if it brings a better municipality for all. Let's obey our bylaws, and avoid unpleasant fines and lets achieve our goal of a quality tourist destination for Calvià.
