The Local Police of Calvià has proceeded to the arrest of 81 people in the months of June to August
These 81 arrests are broken down into the following concepts: 9 arrests for gender violence, 9 arrests for crimes of theft, 5 arrests for assault against police authority, 1 arrest for threats, 9 arrests for crimes against public health, 4 arrests for burglary with force, 1 arrest for robbery with violence, 16 arrests for criminal injuries, 8 arrests for crimes against traffic safety, 1 arrest for sexual assault, 1 arrest for breach of sentence, 3 arrests for criminal damages, 4 arrests for serious resistances, 1arrest for forgery and 9 arrests for being in search and capture by different courts.
Some of these arrests were made yesterday and in the last hours:
About 5 p.m., in the residential area of Costa d'en Blanes, a German citizen was arrested for an alleged crime of falsification of public documents (driving license) and against traffic safety for driving a vehicle without driving license.
Minutes later, in the residential area of Santa Ponça, a Polish citizen against whom outstands an arrest and presentation warrant by a magistrate's court of Palma.
At 12.45 a.m., a Polish citizen was arrested for assaulting his partner. A woman reported the attack by her husband who then left the marital home. A unit stopped him in a control set-up for his location, after receiving the call from 112. At the time of the arrest they confiscasted him 2 knives and a cutter.
And at 2.45 a.m., a Pakistani citizen was arrested, for driving under the influence of alcohol through the residential area of Magaluf. He neither presented his driving license nor confirmed the vehicle's insurance.
In addition to performing their own traffic and compliance of ordinances control and management tasks, the Police does not stop collaborating in public safety tasks of the municipality of Calvià.
