Calvià elementary school students discover the Mediterranean forest through the senses
During this week more than one hundred students have participated in the activity "Descubre el bosque Mediterráneo"(Discover the Mediterranean forest), organised by Xarxa Forestal and IBANAT, coordinated from the Natural and Urban Environment service of Calvià Town Hall. Through the senses, students from the Jaume I (Palmanova) and Xaloc (Peguera) centres were able to learn about the values of the Mediterranean forest, improve their relationship with the natural environment and enrich their culture of fire risk. The activity took place in el Caló d'en Monjo.
