Basic life support and cardiopulmonary resuscitation workshop at IES Calvià
A basic life support and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) workshop was held last week in a surprise drill with two injured at the IES Calvià and in which 17 young people participated.
The objective of Civil Protection of Calvià is to make students aware on the importance of first aid and 112 and 061 emergency numbers.
The diplomas to the participants were presented by the deputy mayor, Andreu Serra, the deputy mayoress, Nati Francés, and the Obligatroy Secondary Education School director, Jaume Balaguer.
