Galatzó residents will decide between green zones and services or social housing
Green zones and services, or construction of housing estates. These are the two choices that the residents of Galatzó will have with regard to the development project of the "Galatzó triangle", the area of land opposite the housing area.
Calvià Town Hall aims to establish the general consensus amongst the residents of this area by way of a written consultation whereby residents will be able to air their views and therefore reach the best decision for all concerned. The Mayor Carlos Delgado has sent a letter to all residents of the area which explains the reasons for the consulting of Galatzó residents, in order to make the best possible decision which will ultimately increase and enhance quality of life in the neighbourhood.
The options for the Galatzó triangle are either green zones and services, (i.e. social clubs, offices, gym facilities, supermarkets etc ) or social housing.
Once the decision has been made the slip of paper should be handed in at the councillors office at the social centre ( Avd Son Pillo ) as from the 8th October and up until the 11th Oct inclusive, between 09.00 and 14.00 hours and also 17.00 and 20.00.
