Calvià recove its inicial route as King James I did in 1229 from Salou to Santa Ponça
Next year the race Rei en Jaume, which forms part of the disembarkation act, will recovered its initial singularity mirrored identically to that in 1229 with King James I.
This highstanding regatta "Rei en Jaume" takes place on 11th September from Salou to Santa Ponça. On arrival there the fleet from Salou will take part in the third López Raigal trophy competing between the Bay of Palma and Santa Ponça.
The reinstating of this regatta was a pending goal for the Government team headed by Carlos Delgado. Following its return in 2006 it marks the 16th regatta of the "Rei en Jaume" Lopez Raigal trophy.
