The forum will be celebrated next Wednesday, the 2nd, and will treat of the marine and healthy life in Calvià
On Wednesday 2nd April we shall be celebrating our eighth Foreign Residents Forum as started up by Calvia Town Hall with the intention of opening up communication channels between the residents of different nationalities here in Calvià.
The celebration of this special event forms part of the integration policy of the Town Hall lead by the Major Carlos Delgado. This initiative started up in November of 2003, by the opening of the Foreign Residents department and its services offered to foreign citizens, such as the free Spanish lessons , the Europe day celebration and also the project for service to non European residents which is being developed by the department of Social Welfare, amongst many other initiatives to build bridges between the people of 102 different nationalities that live in the Municipality of Calvià.
The topics for this particular forum are; "Sea life in Mallorca" and also "Healthy living in Calvià". There will be a presentation given by the experts from Marineland about Sea life around the islands shores. The topic of Healthy living in Calvià will be presented by personal trainer Greg Perel and Angela Guerrero. Drinks and canapes will be served after the presentations.
