It is celebrated in a great tent of 1.500 meters installed in the square of the Beach Torà

Peguera's Oktoberfest will be open until 19th.

Peguera will be hosting the II Original Bavarian Beer Festival Oktoberfest until 19 th. A marquee of more than 1.500 sq. mts. installed on the square of the Torà beach will be the focal point, this year, of a celebration intended to continue to strengthen ties amongst the calvians of different nationalities, of whom more than 3.500 are German, as well as giving the area a boost and lengthening the tourist season with such an attractive event for both residents and tourists alike.


Throughout the duration of the festival, from 11.00h. until midnight, daily, beer and Bavarian cuisine will be the main feature. According to the organisers, approximately 30.000 litres of beer will be consumed. The traditional "opening of the barrel", official opening of the Oktoberfest, will take place on Friday, 10th October at 13.00h. in the main marquee. Three Bavarian bands with more than 80 musicians will set the scene at the venue. Also, every day, between 11.00h. and 15.00h. a combi-menu will be available.
