- The gastronomic event, which has become a culinary benchmark in Mallorca, is held twice a year
From 28th March to 13th April 2025, more than 40 local restaurants will offer an exquisite variety of menues so that residents and visitors can discover the diversity and gastronomic richness of Calvià municipality. Thus, the chefs of the different participating establishments have prepared delicious proposals with fresh and seasonal ingredients, many of which come from local producers.
For three consecutive weekends, visitors will be able to enjoy three types of menues:
• Mostra menu of the day: the lighter option, with a main course, a dessert and a drink, with prices ranging from 15 to 17€
• Mostra menu: the classic option, which gives its name to the event and consists of a starter, a main course, a drink and a dessert. With prices that can vary between 18, 22 or 35€
• Gastro Menu: a tasting experience that presents the most emblematic dishes of each establishment, whose prices are above 50€
All prices set by the restaurants represent, at least, a 20% discount on the regular price that they would have outside La Mostra Calvià.
In addition, many of the gastronomic offers are adapted to include vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free options and children's menues in order to try to cover different dietary needs and ensure that more people can enjoy this event.
La Mostra Calvià runs throughout the municipality, being held in different locations every weekend, according to the following distribution:
• From 28th to 30th March: Peguera, Cala Fornells, Bendinat, Illetes and Portals Nous.
• From 4th to 6th April: Santa Ponça, Costa de la Calma, El Toro and Calvià village.
• From 11th to 13th April: Palmanova, Magaluf, Son Ferrer and Son Caliu.
All the information about the participating restaurants and their menues can be found on the website: https://visitcalvia.org/la-mostra-calvia/ and through the event’s social networks @LaMostraCalvia.
La Mostra's good acceptance amongst the municipality’s restaurants and customers - both residents and tourists - has allowed it to consolidate itself in the gastronomic calendar of Mallorca. Furthermore, this year, the Town Hall has presented the event coinciding with the Berlin Tourism Fair (ITB), where it has received a great response from the specialised press.
One of La Mostra's current format successes is based on the enormous variety of cuisines that participate in each edition, which is a reflection of the social reality of Calvià, the municipality with the largest number of nationalities present amongst its population. In this way, those who take part in La Mostra Calvià have the option of choosing restaurants such as Asian, Italian, Argentinian, and a long etcetera.
The qualitative leap in Calvià's gastronomic offer has been reflected in an increasing number of people visiting the municipality's restaurants to enjoy their menus throughout the year. So much that, in the current low season, more than a hundred establishments have remained open, which is evidence that the complementary offer has an increasing capacity to keep its business operating beyond the summer months. And La Mostra comes, in short, to reinforce its activity during those "extremes" of the season with two events in April and October that, surely, will once again be a success in the edition that takes place as of the last weekend of March.
