1. FOR THE UNEMPLOYED:

You must present your SOIB card and Identity card as proof that you are unemployed. Those people who have a discontinuous contract will be considered to be unemployed during the period they are not working, and those people who have a contract for less than twenty hours per week shall also be considered to be unemployed.

Employed persons who are interested in any of the courses for the unemployed may apply for the course, however, preference will be given to the unemployed.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed to address the need for languages and training for salespersons. There is no specific job title because the subjects are transversal, but necessary for customer services in the municipality.

2. FOR EMPLOYEES AND UNEMPLOYED

Employees must present their Identity card and a copy of their last payslip as proof of employment. Part-time employees and employees with a discontinuous contract who are not currently working shall be considered employees. Very important: civil servants will not be accepted on the course!!!

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Training for people who want to work in community maintenance, in hotel facilities, in sport centres, and in other facilities with gardens, pools and areas for community use. Includes certificates in basic pesticide-handling and pool maintenance. Other modules: garden maintenance (particularly lawns), treating different surfaces such as parquet flooring, lighting, energy saving, IT skills, health and safety in the workplace, self-employment workshop and work experience.

This course is for lifeguards and other profiles of health personnel. It includes: how to use a semi-automatic defibrillator (apparatus that revives a person via an electric shock). The objective is to increase the knowledge to include rescue by incorporating material on how to use instruments and devices that can optimize results when rescuing accident victims.
