The Gastronomic Month will come to an end, on Friday 29th April, in 17 restaurants in Santa Ponça, Son Bugadelles and El Toro.
The Calvià Gastronomic month, which as in previous editions, will continue every Friday during the month of April, (midday and evening meals), started once more, on 1st April.
The same format has been used this year, due to the success achieved during the last years, which allows to carry out a direct promotion of the restaurant sector, showing the Calvià´s cuisine quality and variety offer, meaning at the same time a minimum cost for the entering restaurants as they do not have to move part of their staff, as the clients are the ones who go to the restaurant.
49 restaurants will participate, this year, in the Gastronomic month, and the price of the menus offered (the same menu for lunch and dinner), have been classified depending on the number of forks- Thus, restaurants with one fork will offer a complete and an assorted menu for seven euros; the ones with two forks have a 10€ menu and, finally, three-fork restaurants have a 15€ menu. Furthermore, some of the entering restaurants, have special menus available for celiacs.
The Gastronomic month took place in: 7 restaurants in Peguera, Cala Fornells and Calvià village, on Friday 1st . In other 7 restaurants in Cas Català, Bendinat and Portals Nous, on Friday 8th April . In 18 restaurants in Son Caliu, Palmanova, Magaluf and Son Ferrer, on Friday 15th April and a total of 36 restaurants, from different areas in Calvià, offered a special menu with prices which ranged from 12 to 20 euros, on Good Friday, 22nd April.
