The crowded Casal de Peguera welcomed the Balearic Symphony Orchestra with a huge applause, and also after the brilliant concert which delighted the more than 300 people who attended the event.
The Symphony Orchestra, brilliantly conducted by Salvador Brotons, who visited Calvià for the first time, delighted the attending public. The concert consisted of two pieces of Beethoven: 'Egmont, Obertura' and 'Heroica'.
The Mayor of Calvià, Manuel Onieva, the Balearic Government´s Minister for Culture, Rafel Bosch, and the Symphony Orchestra´s Manager, Marcelino Minaya, attended the event.
