The Town Hall collaborates with the FEIB for the awareness and the search of foster caring families for the minors in need of one.
The Calvià Town Hall, through the Social Welfare Service, collaborates with the FEIAB (Federation of the Balearic childcare and adolescence Entities) in the awareness and the recruitment of foster care families in our municipality.
The campaign, with the slogan "In Majorca there are boys and girls that need a family, do you want to share your family with them?", searches to give an answer to the best option for the minors living in foster homes. Expects to highlight the need of lots of boys and girls of having a family environment allowing them to live in a normal situation and to give a special emphasis to the confidence link which is established between the families and the minors. On the other hand, the Social Welfare Service has organized an informative talk at the Social Services centre in Palmanova for the forthcoming 25th April at 18 hours.
