The Deputy Mayor for Rural World, Miquel Bonet, has given 30.000 euros in grants for the Calvià Stockbreeders and Farmers Association, this morning.
The Deputy Mayor for Rural World, Miquel Bonet, has given 30.000 euros in grants for the Calvià Stockbreeders and Farmers Association, which is made up with approximately 70 members, for the purchase of cereal fertilizers and animal food as well as for the purchase of trees and their plantation, this morning.
This subvention is framed within the range of grants managed by the Rural World Office and its main aim is to pursue the promotion of the environment. Bonet has committed to maintain the support to the municipality´s first sector as well as he highlighted the important work that they carry out.
Calvià is currently, the second municipality having more livestock in Majorca and thus, the importance that this sector has for the economy of the municipality.
The Association representatives have thanked the support received from the Town Hall year after year, which facilitates their arduous work.
