The Deputy Mayor for Quality, Esperanza Català, received, from hands of the Secretary of State for Tourism, the emblem which the Institute for the Spanish Tourist Quality awards to five beaches of the municipality
The Deputy Mayor for Quality, Esperanza Català, received, last Friday in Fitur, the 'Q' emblem for the quality of the beaches of Santa Ponça, Son Maties, Es Carregador, Palmanova and Palmira.
Català has highlighted the importance of this distinction for the muncipality, as it “shows the environmental quality, the cleanliness and the security, apart from the services and the information offered on the municipality´s coastline”.
The Secretary of State for Tourism, Isabel Borrego, presented this emblem which the Institute for the Spanish Tourist Quality (ICTE) awards, dependent on the Ministry for Insdustry, Tourism and Commerce, after having overcome successfully the corresponding external technical audit which a certification company carries out, approved by the ICTE, as part of the protocol for the 'Q' for Quality awards.
