The streets of the area will be decorated in green due to the festivity of the patron Saint of Ireland. The festivity will count with more than 100 stands, a parade and live music.
Santa Ponça will celebrate this forthcoming Sunday, 17th March, Saint Patrick´s Day, the patron Saint of Ireland, a festivity which will count with live music, a parade and more than a 100 stands which will decorate the streets of the area in green.
The consistory bets for Saint Patrick´s celebration in the municipality´s tourist area where more Irish tourists are attracted, such as Santa Ponça and especially the streets of Ramón de Montcada and Puig de Galatzó.
Tha Day will start at 12 p.m. and will continue until 7 p.m. with live music, more than 100 stands,a parade and typical food and drinks of the country.
Ryanair has shared this initiative and they will hand out publicity of the event in the flights coming from Ireland with destination Palma de Mallorca. Also the Hotel Pionero in Santa Ponça has launched a weekend´s special offer.
The idea of organising this event comes from the need of dynamising the area during the low season and due to the great success achieved during the Christmas Fair which took place in the month of December.
