The grants are aimed at taking care of the expenses caused by the activities that said entities carry out during the present year.
The Mayor of Calvià, Manuel Onieva, has given together with the Deputy Mayor for Social Services and Senior Citizens, Cristina de León, a total of 16.000 euros in grants to the different Senior Citizens Associations in the municipality with the aim of paying the expenses caused by the activities that said entities carry out during the present year.
Said grants are framed within the Senior Citizens Social and Cultural Service Programme of the municipality of Calvià. The Senior Citizens Associations receiving said grants are as follows: the Senior Citizens Associations of Calvià; Es Capdellà; Galatzó; Palmanova-Magaluf; Peguera, Portals Nous; Santa Ponça, Son Ferrer, the Pensioners and Retired People Association in Son Caliu and the Senior Citizens Association in El Toro.
