The Calvià coast line cleaning programme starts, once again, with seven actions spread throughout the whole municipality. Also, an awareness campaign will be carried out for the tourists.
The Calvià coast line cleaning programme, which started four years ago, starts once more this Summer with seven actions spread throughout the whole municipality.
Marineland has been the scenario for the presentation of the new deep sea cleaning campaign which the Calvià for the Climate office starts for 2013 with the slogan (Calvià se moja) 'Calvià gets wet". The Deputy Mayor for Beaches and Coast Line, Daniel Perpiñá, the responsible for the Calvià for the Climate Office, Pablo de la Peña, and the director of Marineland, Rafael Abraham, informed of both, the calendar and details of the actions to be carried out.
Apart from the actions, an awareness campaign about the deep sea and the coastal environmental value, will also take place for the tourists visiting the municipality, through the spreading of informative leaflets. The campaign counts with the collaboration of hotel associations, tour operators, marinas and diving centres.
