After the success achieved last year and due to the importance that the knowledge of languages has in the search of employment, the Calvià Town Hall, through the IFOC and the International Department, start up the II edition of the "Tea Time chat" project.
The programme consists of weekly meetings (from November to March) where English/German speaking people chat with Spanish speaking people with the aim of increasing the idiomatic knowledge of the participants having the opportunity of improving the oral skills of said languages. Therefore, this activity is addressed to unemployed people who are actively searching for a job, with a labour profile focused on the direct service to the tourist client and who need to improve their language skills in order to find a job or improve their language training.
As a novelty, and due to last year´s success achieved, German will be added to the programme, in the Santa Ponça's weekly meeting.
If you are a Calvià resident and you would like to improve your English or German, contact the IFOC and register before 25th October.
