Apart from the “gintapass” winners, five establishments have been recognized for the votes given for their tapas through the social network and three establishments have been recognized for their gin-tonics

The Calvià Town Hall's plenary room held this morning the presentation of diplomas for the establishments awarded in the Gin Tapa Calvià first edition, which took place in November in the different areas of the municipality.

The event, headed by the Deputy Mayor for Commerce, Manuel Grille, honoured five establishments which become winners with their tapa's social network votes: Magaluf Sports Centre, Palmanova Tapas Bar, Chimes, Cafetería Mañanas and Gran Buffet S.XXI. With the same system the Capuccino Grand Café and the Bar Restaurante Ya have been awarded for their gin tonics.

Both, the Bar Restaurante Casa Paco and the Resaturant My Thai have been awarded for their best tapa and best gin-tonic respectively with the "Gintapass" voting system, consisted in voting through ballot boxes spread throughout various areas of the municipality of Calvià.

The Gintapa Calvià, which has counted with 69 establishments in this first edition, started with the objective of boosting the municipality's gastronomic offer and attract potential clients amongst our residents and visitors and encourage the catering sector through gin-tonic and tapa routes during the month of November in the different areas of the municipality.
