The race, which will take place on the forthcoming Sunday 2nd March, will be valid for the Balearic Marathon Championship and will count with the presence of Eliseo Martín, third in the last Spanish Marathon Championship.

The Calvià Town Hall's plennary room held this morning the presentation of the 30th edition of the Magaluf International Marathon, which will take place on the forthcoming 2nd March. Also, this year's marathon will be valid for the Balearic Marathon Championship and will count with the presence of Eliseo Martín, who became bronze medal in the last Spanish Marathon Championship.

The Magaluf Marathon consists of four races: Marathon, Half-marathon, 10 km and 10 km nordic walking. Complementary activities such as the Kids Marathon, race addressed to the little ones  taking place tomorrow Thursday, technical talks given by professionals and the Feria del Corredor, where the participants will be able to collect their sport numbers, will also take place. As the same as other years, the Hotel Vistasol, one of the race's sponsors, will hold the pasta party which will be held one day prior to the race.

One more year, the starting line will take place on Sunday 2nd March at the Calvià athletics track. The itinerary, approved by the Real Federación Española de Atletismo, is designed in a marked urban environment making the race faster than in previous editions, fact that both, racers and participants will appreciate.

The Magaluf Marathon is organised by the Calvià Town Hall, together with the Fundación Calvià, and promoted by the Balearic Islands Regional Ministry for Tourism, through the ATB, within the official announcement of grants offered for products and tourist events in the Balearics.
