The Mayor Alfonso Rodríguez Badal meets with the president of PIMECO. Commitment of the Town Hall with the traders to defend the regulation of the All Inclusive.

The Mayor of Calvià Alfonso Rodríguez Badal met with the president of PIMECO, Bernat Coll, in a meeting in which they dealt issues which affect the Commerce, especially in the municipality of Calvià.

One of the issues put on the table was the need of regulating the All Inclusive. The Town Hall shares the concern of the traders and has committed to forward this request to the appropiate authority. In fact, the Mayor forwarded this petition to the President of the Regional Government, in last Tuesday's meeting.

They also talked about the damage caused by the shortening of the tourist season. In this sense, it was explained that one of the main goals of the municipal government team is to work jointly to achieve the lengthening of the tourist season in order to, also, improve the labour conditions of the workers.

Other issues covered at the meeting were the upgrading of businesses, the telematic sales, or that the area's offer is not only focused on tourism but also to the residents of the municipality.

The Deputy Mayor Delegate for Tourism, Commerce and Urban Planning, Antonio García Moles, the councillor for Commerce, Paquita Muñoz; Agustí Llinares, PIMECO's governing board member, and Toni Villalonga, technical expert of the association, were also at the meeting.
