Alfonso Rodríguez Badal shared with the Mayor of Sant Antoni de Portmany (Eivissa) the actions which are being undertaken in the leisure zones of Calvià

Both, the Mayor Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, and the Mayor of Sant Antoni de Portmany (Eivissa), José Tur Torres, held a meeting this morning at the Calvià Town Hall, in a first contact which has served to explain the actions which are being undertaken in the Calvian municipality and share experiences with regards to the leisure zones of both tourist municipalities.

At the meeting, Rodríguez Badal explained the main initiatives which have been started up in the leisure zones of the municipality to improve the security. The Mayor of Sant Antoni de Portmany has first-hand known the bylaws which have been approved in the Calvian municipality, as well as the police organization during these Summer months. The Mayor of Calvià has emphasized the continue follow-up undertaken within security matters, the coordination with the Guardia Civil and the involvement of the sector to achieve an improvement in the security of the tourist destination.

 

The Calvià Town Hall's Deputy Mayor responsible for General Services and Security, Andreu Serra, and the general director for General Services and Security, José Antonio Fernández Ballesta; the Sant Antoni de Portmany Town Hall's Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Cleaning, Environment and Public Way, Pablo Valdés, and the Deputy Mayor for Governance, Interior and Civil Protection, Aída Alcaraz, were also at the meeting.
