THE CALVIÀ TOWN HALL WILL RESERVE 10 OFFICIAL PROTECTION HOUSING FOR PEOPLE IN SITUATION OF EXTREME DIFFICULTY
The housing will be addressed to citizens of the municipality with eviction problems, gender violence, and other extreme situations
In solidarity with the people who suffer the exodus because of the Syrian war, Calvià will offer 3 of these 10 housing to shelter refugee people and families
The Calvià Town Hall, has decided to reserve 10 Official Protection Housing which are already built in the municipality, for people and families who are in situation of extreme difficulty.
It is a measure which will be addressed to citizens of the municipality who suffer eviction problems, gender violence, extreme poverty or other situations which make necessary that they can have a home at their disposal, with the support of the Town Hall's social services.
Also, the municipal government team, and according to the commitments which inspired the investiture agreement, wants to be solidary with the Syrian people who suffer the exodus because of the war, therefore it will offer 3 of these 10 public housing to shelter refugee people and families.
In this sense, and gathering the solidary feelings of the citizens of Calvià, the Town Hall will start a process of citizen participation and volunteering, in order that all those people who would like to collaborate, in everything they consider, can have a direct communication channel with the Consistory.
