Es Generador presents its proposal of youth activities for the month of October
The Calvià Town Hall's Youth Department has programmed a series of activities for youths of the municipality between 14 and 30 years old at the centre Es Generador for this forthcoming month of October.
-The activity Music & Wheels will take place on Friday 2nd and 16th October from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Different and entertaining afternoons for young 'ryders' at the 'skatepark' with music of the moment.
-Also, the Musicians of Calvià Monthly Gathering will take place on Friday 16th October at 6.30 p.m. It is about a meeting space for youths who are linked to music. The meeting's objective is to share experiences in an informal way, comment the musical scene of the municipality, arrange concerts and all that related to music.
-Various street activities and the 'Fira d'entitats' will take place on Saturday 24th October from 5 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. within the frame of the International Seminar “STEP IN, INFORMAL IS NORMAL?” which will run from 20th until 25th October at Es Generador. It is expected to inform the youths of the municipality of the entities and projects of the participating countries. It also, wants to show the culture and aspects of our traditions to the participants at the seminar.
-A working team will meet on Thursdays 1st , 8th , 15th , 22nd and 29th October from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. to prepare the party of Halloween. They will be preparation sessions for the “tunnel of terror” to spend a good time at the Halloween's party.
-The yearly Halloween party will be held on Saturday 31st October as from 7.30 p.m. in which all the youths are invited to participate.
With regards to the regular actitvities of the centre, the activity 'Zona XD' takes place every Thursday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. which includes board games, video games and ping-pong; and every Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. it is organised the 'Espai Generactiu', in which various activities are developed such as workshops, gymkhanas or tournaments.
