THE CALVIÀ TOWN HALL MEETS WITH THE CITIZENS OF THE MUNICIPALITY TO INFORM THEM ABOUT THE CITIZEN PARTICIPATION PROCESSES
The Citizen Participation Department and the councillors of the area have already met with the associations of the different areas of the municipality
The Citizen Participation Department of Calvià Town Hall is undertaking a series of meetings to inform the citizens of Calvià about the participation processes which the municipal government team is now starting up.
The councillor for Citizen Participation, Fernando Alcaraz, and the councillors of the different areas of the municipality, have already met with the citizens, through the associations of each area. In these meetings, the councillors have showed their interested in the activities udertaken by each of the associations, as well as in their projects and objectives.
On behalf of the government team, they have been informed of the mechanisms that the Town Hall is starting up so the citizenship can be protagonist and an active part of the municipality's day by day, in aspects such as the participation in the revision of the General Plan of Urban Planning, or in the Participated Budgets.
Another round of meetings is expected in the different areas before the end of the year, and for the new year they will start a series of meetings with the more than 160 associations of the municipality. These meetings were also attended by The Director General of Participation and Youth, Juan Antonio Marcos.
