The Three Kings in Calvià
ROUTES AND SCHEDULES OF THE THREE WISE MEN IN CALVIÀ
5th OF JANUARY
Santa Ponsa and Costa de la Calma:
17:00 h. The Three Kings will depart from Es Castellot towards Ramon de Montcada street. Once at the taxi and bus stop roundabout, they will go towards the Puig de Galatzó street and the Santa Ponça roundabout. From there they will go along Jaume I until the roundabout. They will continue to Galatzó, Avinguda Puig de Saragossa and Avinguda de Son Pillo. They will finish the tour in the Galatzó Pavilion, where, at 19:00 h. they will hand the gifts out and then all the participants will be able to enjoy some hot chocolate
El Toro:
17:00 h. The Three Kings with their helpers will arrive at Port Adriano from 17:00 h. where they will be welcomed with a hot chocolate drink. Once this is completed, they will start the ride up to the resort of El Toro, along the Gran Via, Athe vinguda del Mar, the Plaça del Migdia, and to the church where the gifts will be handed out.
Es Capdellà:
17:30 h. The Three Kings, who will do the journey on horses, will start from the end of Carrer Major and Carrer Galatzó until the bus stop. They will end at the church where they will hand the gifts out. During the event, there will be hot chocolate and 'ensaimadas' on sale in the Joana Nogues square.
Calvià Vila:
18:30 h. Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar will go along the village streets on horses departing from the Carrer Major. They will end in Sa Society where they will hand the gifts out to the children of the village.
Son Ferrer, Palmanova and Son Caliu:
18:30 h. The tour will start in the picnic area of Son Ferrer with the following route: Oronella, Falcó, Rossinyol, Àguila, Can Ferrer, Tudor and Ocell del Paradís. The route will finish in the church where the gifts will be handed out. In this route, Palmanova Son Caliu will also be participating, and it is expected to last about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
6th OF JANUARY 2016
PAGUERA:
09:00 h. The Three Kings will leave the esplanade of Carrer Aina Gayà Mayol, where the carriages will gather and then go towards the Bulevar, turn along the road to Es Capdellà going up the Joan XIII street until Pins street. The parade will end at the church square (Plaça Matilde Waring), where a mass will be held, the gifts will be handed out and chocolate and 'ensaimada' will to be offered to all attendees.
In the morning, in Palmanova (Sala Palmanova) and son Caliu, the Kings hand out the gifts.
