The municipal radio station has been awarded by mayoral resolution dated 18th January 2016 to the company 'Associació Ona Mediterránea' for an amount of 106.645,92 €. The period of the contract is 12 months with the possibility of extending it for 9 more months.
The object of the tender is to give a journalistic service for the realization of the information and entertainment programme in the municipal radio station and the edition and pre layout of the municipal magazine.
The bid of technical specifications establishes a morning radio broadcast, with a live daily broadcast of at least 5,5 hours, from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 2.30 p.m., in which are included news bulletins, programmes of dissemination and activities of the municipality of Calvià. Two is the minimum number of daily news bulletins due from Monday to Friday in which local, regional, national and international news will have to be included.
The awardee must undertake a programming on the municipal, cultural, ludic and emerging activity in general, give coverage to all institutional and social events of the municipality that require it, apart from offering a musical and sporting programming.
With regards to the municipal magazine, it includes the realization of a journalistic service of edition, photography and pre layout of the municipal magazine twice monthly, in which the institutional, general, ludic, cultural or sports actions carried out in the municipality should be informed objectively and in plural way to the citizenship.
