Four new street lamps with LED lights have also been installed in Plaza Santa Ponça
Calvià Town Hall continues to support the improvement of energy efficiency and the modernisation of public lighting in the municipality. In this regard, 27 sodium vapour lights have been replaced with LED lights in Plaza Collidores d'Oliva square in Calvià village.
This action allows a significant reduction in energy consumption, since LED technology is more efficient and sustainable. In addition, the new lights provide better light quality, increasing the safety and comfort of the residents and visitors of the square.
Four new LED streetlights have also been installed in Plaza Santa Ponça, in response to requests from residents for better lighting in this area, especially at the roundabout, which until now had somewhat reduced visibility at night. This improves both road safety and the comfort of drivers and pedestrians, reducing dark spots and offering more uniform and efficient lighting.
