Peguera is the scenario of this new edition which starts on 1st March.
The streets of Peguera are, this year, the scenario of the new edition of BetArt which starts on 1st March in different points of Calvià. The project counts on outstanding street-artists who in this occasion will exhibit their art works on walls and surfaces of Peguera: Ador, Grip Face, Héctor Francesch, Joan Aguiló, Judas Arrieta, Olimpia Velasco, Reskate Arts&Crafts, Spogo and Tamara Arroyo. The commissioners are Ana Ferrero Horrach, Enric Font Company and Pilar Rubí Risco.
For a few days, we will be direct spectators of the creation process that artists will show to residents and visitors in urban canvases that have been put at their disposal in the streets of Peguera: the Flor los Almendros apartments and the apartments of Olivo St.; the Endesa electric power plants in Torà St. and Romana St.; the fronton, the football pitch, the sports centre and the municipal swimming-pool walls.
The artistic creation will be complemented furthermore with a day of activities on Saturday 5th March at the Beverly Playa Hotel. There will be a Stencils (templates) workshop for children and youths, a urban art guided route through works of previous editions, an open table and a party where artists, commissioners and visitors will share the evening to celebrate another edition of BetArt.
