About 200 children have camped in the public estate knowing its natural and heritage values

About 200 children enjoy the natural environment of Galatzó participating in a weekend camping
A camping of the Moviment Escolta i Guiatge de Mallorca takes place this weekend in the Galatzó public estate. About 200 children aged between 8 and 11 years old participate in the activity, enjoying the natural surroundings of Es Galatzó together with 40 monitors.
Children have come to the estate of Galatzó, enjoying activities during the afternoon. They have set up the tents before dinner, for then enjoy a pleasant evening on the mountain. They will perform various activities before descending, thus terminating the activity.
The Calvià Town Hall, through the Deputy Mayor responsible for Environment, Antonio García Moles, and the Councillor for Environment, Francisca Muñoz, has welcomed the large group of Escoltes to the emblematic public estate that is in full process of recovery, with the aim of launching a Revitalisation Plan that allows both, citizenship and tourism enjoy the natural and heritage values of the estate.
