STOCKBREEDERS CAN APPLY FOR GRANTS FOR FEED AS OF FRIDAY 18TH MARCH
This year, the Town Hall advances the grants as consequence of the lack of pasture due to the drought
As of today Friday 18th March, the stockbreeders of Calvià can apply for grants to buy feed for the animals, as the BOIB number 35 of 17th March 2016 publishes.
Thus, the Town Hall advances the grants for 2016 as a result of the lack of pasture due to the drought.
Stockbreeders will have 30 work days to request the aid in the office of Món Rural, at 2 Major St., in Es Capdellà.
The Mayor, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, the Deputy Mayor for Tourism, Commerce and Urban Planning, Antonio García Moles and the Councillor of Commerce, Activities and Environment, Francisca Muñoz, informed the president of the Associació de Ramaders de Calvià, Jaume Bonet, and its Board of Directors, of the start up of this subsidy which is advanced with regards to previous years.
At the meeting, other matters of interest for the sector, such as a establishing a direct channel of communication with the responsibles of the Town Hall with the objective of obtaining punctual information on the situation and needs of the rural sphere, were discussed.
It was also informed of the organisation of the Fira d'Oví i Caprí 2016 (Sheep and Goat Fair) incorporating actions and improvements suggested by the association.
