Parallel to the public exhibition of the basic lines, the Committee will analyse and make contributions, and a process will be carried out so the citizenship of Calvià can know the proposal and make suggestions that, subsequently, the Committee will analyse. The participation of the citizenship is considered in all the phases planned and approved in the Plenary session of last month of September.

The Plenary session of September 2015 approved the process' calendar that establishes a schedule for the whole procedure, with the commitment that the Revision of the General Plan can be definitively approved in this legislature.

At the Advisory Committe's meetings, ideas will be matched and issues will be debated with politicians, technicians and other people who may contribute and give an insight on sectoral issues. The idea is to get a starting base as broad as possible and provoke a debate of ideas, with the aim of achieving a useful final document to work with.

It is also planned to incorporate environmentalists to work on the line of fighting against the climate change and reduce the pollution levels, so that the PGOU has a significant environmental content.
